• O seu obituário foi publicado no Carlos's obituary. Antonio Carlos Silva, of Whitman, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on September 26, 2022 after battling a long illness.
Antonio was born in São Felipe, Fogo, Cape Verde. He attended high school in Praia, Cape Verde and completed his studies in the United States. He later attended Massasoit Community College where he studied business and accounting. As a superintendent at Plymouth Rubber Company in Canton, MA, "Tony," was respected as a detailed and skilled manager who took great pride in his work and his team.
He was a loving and caring husband to his wife, who was his entire world. Their union was blessed with three sons and two daughters . A devoted father, Antonio instilled a respect for hard work and dedication in his children.
He had an unwavering determination to expect and provide the very best for children. His main passion in life was spending time with his wife, 3 sons, and 6 grandchildren.
Antonio is predeceased by his mother, Edith Teixeira Santos Silva, his father, Antonio Santos Silva, and his sisters, Maria das Dores Santos Silva and Maria da Luz Santos Silva.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Leoneta Silva, of Whitman, MA; three sons, Robert Antonio Silva and his wife Andrea Silva of Upper Marlboro, MD, Lee Michael Santos Silva and his partner, Lars Klint, of Boston, MA, and Antonio Amilcar Silva and his wife Christine Dussault, of Westerly, RI; three daughter Susie Silva with three and Rachel with six grandchildren, Travis Cogell Silva, Daevyn Marae Silva, Tyanna Faith Silva, Nia Rae Dussault, Christian Michael Santos Silva, and Antonio Amilcar Silva, Jr; three brothers, Carlos Santos Silva, of Praia, Cape Verde, Alberto Santos Silva, of Bourne, MA, Emmanuel Santos Silva, of Brockton, MA; and his sister, Maria "Fany" Vieira, of Raynham, MA.
